Early Life and Education
Yolanda Vlorie was born in Alameda CA and raised in Oakland, CA. Growing up in a nurturing environment, Yolanda developed a passion for caring for others from an early age. After completing her education in Early Childhood Delvelopent, she decided to pursue a career that would allow her to make a positive impact on the lives of children.
In October 2000, Yolanda embarked on a fulfilling career as a childcare provider. Over the years, she has dedicated her life to fostering the growth and development of countless children. With a deep commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and enriching environment, Yolanda has become known for her patience, creativity, and ability to connect with children of all ages.
Throughout her career, Yolanda has continually sought to enhance her skills and knowledge in early childhood development. This dedication is reflected in her participation in various training programs, workshops, and seminars focused on child psychology, learning strategies, and effective communication techniques.
In an exciting new chapter of her career, Yolanda is expanding her business by opening a dedicated Preschool. This Preschool will embody her vision of providing high-quality, individualized care and educational experiences for children. To further enhance this initiative, Yolanda is partnering with Pastor Anthony Grayson, a respected leader in the community, to create a holistic environment that nurtures not only the minds of children but also their spirits.
This partnership aims to integrate values-based education into the curriculum, emphasizing character development, empathy, and community service. Together, Yolanda and Pastor Grayson envision a Preschool that not only supports children's academic and social growth but also fosters a sense of belonging and community among families.
Philosophy and Approach
Our childcare philosophy centers on the belief that every child is unique and deserves to be valued and understood. We emphasizes the importance of play-based learning, encouraging children to explore their creativity and develop their social skills in a fun and engaging way. With the partnership of Pastor's Grayson, the preschool will also incorporate spiritual teaching which parents have the options to opt out of the curriculum if they wish.
